Logic3 Launches the i-Station25 - For People Who Want That Little Bit More in a Speaker

EMBARGO – 07 December, 2008: Logic3 today launched the latest in its range of popular i-Station speakers for all iPhone (including the iPhone 3G) and iPod from Apple.
Priced at £69, the i-Station25 boasts innovative accelerometer technology so users can simply turn their speakers sideways for a better view of video and photos. LED lights let users know when the speakers are positioned to deliver the best performance for the job, and the accelerometer automatically adjusts the output to the correct left/right audio separation.
Four nifty 40mm speaker drivers deliver 8 Watts RMS of crystal clear sound and incorporates advanced circuitry to suppress TDMA noise distortion; the irritating buzz made when your mobile phone rings. This is particularly good news for users who intend to use a portable speaker system to watch videos or listen to music from their iPhone. And, for those who would rather watch their video in full screen, the i-Station25 also incorporates a video out port for connecting their speaker system to a TV.
The decision by Logic3 to power the product by easily obtainable 4 x AA batteries means users can enjoy music or video even if they are in the middle of nowhere on a camping trip. Though, it is worth powering the speakers though the AC Adaptor (provided) when at home, as this not only saves on battery power but allows the speakers to recharge the iPhone or iPod in use.
For those still looking for more functionality, a remote control allows even the most languid of users to lie back and listen to their favourite tracks undisturbed.
“It’s no secret that more people than ever are using portable devices to store and enjoy films, music and games. We wanted to deliver a speaker that is a perfect companion to iPhone and importantly, took into consideration how people may want to use it. For us, portability, affordability and, delivering something that did more than people would expect was the key to this design,” said Ashvin Patel, Managing Director at Logic3.
